About the Course
You are not alone in your pursuit to have a free birth: an unassisted natural birth at home. Women are designed to have babies naturally. As birth workers we believe in the woman’s natural capabilities. This video course provides step by step information on one free birther's process of preparing and how with the virtual assistance of her midwife friend, did she accomplish her goal.
The work is arguably hard: fears creep in, the attempt to understand signals from our babies can be misleading and confusing, society does not support autonomous birth at large. This course acts like a map. Everyone’s map can and should be different, so we cover the basics, give those considering free birth some ideas to chew on and leave room for interpretation and style differences.

A three course speaks to how possible free birth is and is a reference for how one might prepare for the journey of free birth.
Our first video
Framed around the prenatal period. Such an exciting time that combines a new experience to come with the characteristics of our true selves. We discuss the medical preparation taken such as prenatal testing options and monitoring options. There is also the layout of the mental preparation and steps taken to ensure fear is diminished through evidence based research.
Second video
Is about the birth itself. Things that you might expect, and what could be unexpected. How partners might be involved, and how you might feel during this time.
Third video
Focuses on the all important postpartum period- a time which is often forgotten but arguable the most crucial part of your whole experience. We cover how to prepare for the immediate postpartum time as well as your full 40 day recovery

Hi! I'm Geneva Montano, CPM
I have a passion for serving women and birthing families and connecting with people on a deep and supportive level, and it is my life’s calling to guide others toward their own holistic healing and growth.
Throughout my lifetime I have been searching for ways to feel more connected to the divine and to myself, and as a yoga teacher, EFT and hypnosis practitioner, body and energy worker and spiritual coach, I have guided many others as they have done the same.
Having nearly two decades of experience in the birth space, as a childbirth educator, doula and soon after as a midwife, I have a deep understanding of physiological birth.
I also have an understanding of what it takes to build a thriving birth business.
Through this Mentorship Group, my intention is to help new birthkeepers step into their power, align with their authentic truth, and gain a holistic understanding of how to best support their clients along the birth continuum.
