Birth Doula Workshops: Answer the Call

Feel that deep pull, that whisper within? It's a calling to the ancient, sacred work of a doula. Perhaps you've witnessed birth and felt something awaken inside you. Maybe your own birth experience called you to this work. You've observed how rushed, clinical, and disconnected the process has become and thought, Birth should be different. Or you've always been drawn to the mystery of creation, the space between worlds where life emerges.

Being a doula is more than a career—it’s a calling. It’s an ancient, sacred work. It’s about holding space, protecting the threshold, and guiding families with wisdom and heart.

If you feel this pull but don’t know where to start, this is your invitation. Our Baby-Led Birth Doula Workshop will equip you with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to step fully into this work—ready to transform birth experiences and reclaim the lost art of true support.

About Your Instructor

I’m Geneva Montano, a Colorado native and mother of four. Since 2003, I’ve dedicated my life to birth work, serving as a Registered and Professional Midwife in Denver, Certified Doula, Registered Yoga Teacher, CPR instructor, body and energy worker, teacher, mentor, author, artist, and activist. I've been leading Doula workshops since 2018 and I love sharing my passion for birth. There's no way I can support all the families who need it myself, so knowing that you will be out in your community supporting families from your heart gives me the greatest joy and peace.

In our workshop, I integrate holistic and spiritual practices, emphasizing the sacredness of birth. I believe that anyone who feels the call to be a doula is already a doula! We'll just help you hone your skills and figure out how to make it work in your life. A doula is a support person—we don't perform medical tasks, but instead we remind the birthing person of their own power. You already know how to do this! Being a doula is in your bones!

Through a blend of presentations, videos, roundtable discussions, and practical exercises, we delve into the power of human connection and the wonder of the birth experience.
