Geneva isn’t just a birthworker.

She is a healer, a listener, a guide, and an advocate. She advocates for you when you feel lost in the birthing process, lost in your new role as a mother, lost in your new body. She advocates for your innate knowledge , for the thousands of ancestors who also birthed, for the strength and power you didn't even know you had. I am so grateful to have found her, and to have been given the opportunity to trust her with mine and my babies life. Geneva is an artist. She embodies an art form that had long been forgotten, the picture that she paints is exactly whats been missing from our worlds; A Sacred Birth.

If you want to have a magical sacred supportive pregnancy birth and postpartum, hire Geneva.

She is an outstanding midwife and a beautiful spirit inside and out. She has a mastery of skills and experience that would be hard to find anywhere else. We are beyond grateful to have found her and her team. Our homebirth was probably the best experience of our lives!

Geneva's care throughout my pregnancy and birth was unlike anyone else’s.

Not only was she thorough on the medical side, but she was everything I needed emotionally. During birth she knew when I truly needed her care and when I just needed her to hold space for me. I'll never forget the role she played during the most amazing experience of my life.

Geneva’s prenatal care mirrored exactly the information I received about my pregnancy from my traditional OB.

However, her care went a step further, providing a deeper education and nurturing my own intuition as a mother. As a midwife, Geneva’s mastery of skill is exceptional. She successfully navigated complications during my natural birth, all the while making me feel assured and empowered. On a soul level, as the woman who first caught my son as he entered the world, tears come to my eyes. If a midwife is the pillar a laboring woman can lean on in the powerful portal of Birth, Geneva’s roots run deep, and her branches extend far, far into the sky. She held sacred space facilitating my home birth and delivering my baby. I am forever grateful.

Geneva was our midwife for our first birth.

We had a wonderful water birth at home and everything turned out perfect, thanks to the incredible care Geneva and the birth team provided. Geneva specifically was wonderful and supportive all around - emotionally, spiritually and she has extensive midwifery and healthcare expertise. She provided vital information from when I was about 26 weeks into my pregnancy all the way through labor and delivery until postpartum. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, calm under pressure, helped us make informed decisions, and has a good sense of humor. I would definitely recommend Geneva to families.

We really wanted to find someone that would be able to bring good calm energy to our birth, and help guide us through the transition to first-time parents. Geneva was the perfect fit!

She was so good at explaining all our options and expectations prior to birth and was holistic in her approach to preparing us for the entire birthing experience. During labor,  she was able to read my energy and knew exactly what I needed at any given moment. That sort of insight was invaluable to us. I would highly recommend her as a loving addition to any birth experience, and feel so lucky that we were able to have her be a part of ours. To all you first time fathers to be, this is my story. When we found out we were pregnant we were filled with joy and a little fear.

The more I learned about the process and everything that would be involved the more that fear increased. Going through a childbirth class made me realize the massive challenge that a natural birth would be for my wife. Luckily the teacher of the class strongly recommended finding a doula, and it was the best investment we made in this process. I can’t emphasize enough how much it put my mind at ease knowing someone who had gone through this hundreds of times would be there to guide us toward a calm and positive experience. Geneva was present and went right into action. She always knew the best techniques to try to manage discomfort, something I would have run out of ideas on within about 30 minutes. She also helped me manage the stress of the process including making sure I ate, stayed hydrated, and took small breaks. The pushing was scary for me as our baby’s heart rate would drop during the pushes, and the doctor mentioned if it continued a Cesarean would be needed. Thank God Geneva was there to continue to coach us both through this final phase and my wife successfully gave birth to our son Ashton shortly thereafter. Geneva stuck around for a couple of hours even after the birth and took pictures, assisted with first time breast feeding, and helped us to calm down after the experience. Again, having Geneva present was the best decision and investment I made in this process and we will definitely hire her again for our next birth.

Geneva was my go-to midwife after I conceived. She provided a better experience than I could have imagined from anyone.

I felt like Geneva was more than a midwife and doula; she was also a friend and a fellow mother. Something that was important to me through my experience was I felt that I was in charge of my birth and body and I got that with Geneva. She never told me what to do, she only made suggestions and shared her experiences with outcomes. She always asked for my consent and clearly respected me and my feelings through the whole process. I never felt any judgement, which in the birth world is unfortunately all too common. It was also important to my partner and I that he be involved every step of the way. Geneva did this seamlessly. She always made sure that he was in the loop and he also received support. By far, one of my favorite parts of my pregnancy and postpartum experience (besides Geneva’s direct care) have been Geneva’s Birth Circles. Especially having to go through pregnancy during COVID, I always had birth circle to look forward to. It wasn’t just an opportunity to socialize with other birthing people but to learn and hear different experiences. My birth was nothing like I had planned or expected but Geneva was flexible nonetheless. I did not end up getting my dream home birth but I have her to thank for my positive hospital experience. Geneva recommended a hospital and came as my doula and photographer! She not only supported me but captured some amazing images of my birth that I will cherish forever. Overall, I can not thank Geneva enough for helping me have the most positive pregnancy and birth experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a midwife, doula, or even an educator (I have attended some of her training sessions too).

Geneva was an amazing midwife and doula from the first time we met with her, throughout the birth process, and even after the baby arrived.

We didn't feel comfortable with the gynecologist that we initially were working with, and didn't feel a good fit with other doulas we interviewed, but Geneva's professionalism and experience stood out above the rest. Once we decided on Geneva, we were able to have very comfortable and informative check-ups throughout the pregnancy, where she was able to answer every question and explain the roles of the mother, baby, birth partner, and herself. She also has a network of clients that meets for "birth circles" periodically which helped us to see others' experiences and have a network of friends going through the same process. During the pregnancy, Geneva showed her flexibility during the unprecedented COVID-19 social distancing orders. We were able to maintain sanitation and social distance without sacrificing our care and support. For our birth, the baby came slightly prematurely, and Geneva was able to support and advise us through the process of changing plans from a home birth to a hospital. She recommended the hospital with the best reputation in the area, and supported my wife through her contractions and labor and supported me as a partner through my role and stresses as well. After the baby was born, Geneva was just as reliable as during the pregnancy, checking in and making sure that the baby was developing properly and my wife was recovering properly. I can't thank or recommend Geneva enough, she has been truly wonderful in helping our baby enter the world.
