Sacred (Re)Birth Academy
The Baby-Led Birthworker
The Art & Science of Sacred Birth Support
You want to walk into a birth room feeling calm, confident and comfortable.
You want to trust birth.
You want skills in your hands.
You want to support families deeply without making their birth about you.
You want to become the kind of doula you would want beside you.
Let's get you there.
You feel the call.
Maybe you're already the person everyone tells their birth story to.
You light up when someone tells you they're pregnant.
You keep thinking about becoming a doula.
And then you imagine someone actually hiring you.
Oh shit. What if they call me at 2 a.m.?
What if you don't know when to go?
What if labor is harder or longer than you expected?
What if your client looks at you and you have absolutely no idea what to suggest?
What if the provider recommends something and everyone turns to you?
What if the baby is posterior?
What if they want an epidural?
What if the birth ends in a cesarean?
What if you know all the information...and still don't feel comfortable in the room?
Become comfortable with birth.
The Baby-Led Birthworker combines practical doula skills with a deeper trust in birth.
You'll learn what to do with your hands.
You'll learn how to support labor without trying to control it.
You'll learn how to advocate while keeping the birthing person's voice at the center.
You'll learn to notice the baby as an active participant in birth.
You'll learn how to stay grounded when plans change.
And you'll practice enough that birth starts feeling less like something you're watching from the outside and more like a space you know how to be in.
Baby-Led Birthwork is different.
The birthing person is already the hero.
The baby is part of the story.
Your role is support.
Sometimes that means touch, movement or positioning.
Sometimes it means information.
Sometimes it means helping everyone slow down.
Sometimes it means trusting birth enough to stop doing things.
Sacred. Skilled. Grounded.
That is Baby-Led Birthwork.
Topics Covered
Plus hands-on practice in supporting labor, movement, positioning and comfort.
And we don't send you home after two days and say, “Good luck.”
After the workshop, we continue with five weeks of virtual training and follow-up.
Then, as you begin working with your first client, you still have support.
Because your questions get much more interesting once there is an actual pregnant person texting you.
The goal is simple:
You walk into your first births knowing you belong there.
