Biking for Black Babies

I have some very exciting events coming up that I would love for you to be a part of! 

But first and more importantly: let me ask you if you have a few extra dollars to contribute to the Biking for Black Babies fundraiser that several of my friends and colleagues are riding in.

When I was meditating this morning I was thinking about our money centric world and wondering how I could create a world for myself where everywhere I go and everything I do… 

I am focused on making love instead of making money. 

Here is one place I'm starting.

I am hopeful that most of you have heard about the dismal statistics on birth in this country for families of color. 

The important thing to remember is that the babies and mothers who are lost are not just statistics. 

• They are real people. 

• They are mothers and sisters and daughters and partners and friends. 

• They are our future and all we have dreamed of.  

• They are humans whose loss is devastating to all those around them. 

• A loss that a family really never heals from fully. 

• These are losses that are often preventable. 

And that is what biking for black babies is all about.

I also believe that my work is where I make love. Yes I also make money from these things but I am focused more on how I can impact lives and make love in the world around me.

Postpartum holistic doula workshop October 28th and 29th in Denver, Colorado. 

You will learn about the pillars of holistic postpartum support for the mind, body and spirit of birthing people, babies and families, as well as yourself as a birth keeper.  

We will do fun things like:

• Infant massage

• sample some delicious and healthy ayurvedic postpartum meals
